廢菇包|應用於蔬菜及草花育苗

目前廣泛應用於蔬菜育苗之介質多以泥炭土為主要成分,
而泥炭土採集於沼澤或濕地,是由腐植質化之植物遺體堆積而
成,生成速度緩慢,屬於天然資材。近年開採量逐漸減少,導
致價格逐漸上漲,加上生態保護意識提高及環保政策限制,促
使園藝育苗產業需做出改變以克服瓶頸。
臺中區農業改良場開發的木黴菌液態微生物製劑,可用於
處理廢棄菇包加值再利用,有效縮短腐熟時間,產出成品具穩定性,混合一定比例之泥炭後,應用於十字花科、葫蘆科、菊科蔬菜及草花等穴盤育苗,有助於促進苗期生長及根系發育,
在狀苗指數評比明顯優於一般市售的泥炭土
。
除了用於育苗,這項技術還可以應用於堆肥發酵。處理過
的廢棄菇包可作為堆肥製作之調整材,可加速堆肥腐熟過程。
