Tannin 50 is a microencapsulated specialty able to guarantee an efficient slow release of active ingredient all along the animal digestive tract.Tannin 50 consists of hydrolysable tannins (chestnut wood extracts), a natural nutrient. Thanks to their
acidifying action, tannins can limit proliferation of pathogens in the GIT, improving at the same time the
growth of beneficial microbes.
Thanks to their astringency property, tannins can reduce intestinal peristalsis, allowing for better absorption of liquids and nutrients and manure consistency. Overall, this results in a softer and drier litter at farm level.
