MT1品系高取肉率性狀可藉由與市售商業高成長品系雜交，或與海大水產遺傳育種團隊培育的高抗病(DR)品系或耐鹽純海水(ST)品系雜交成為新的商業品系，如兼具高成長、高取肉率及抗病之台灣鯛新品系，與高取肉率耐鹽海水台灣鯛品系!! 亦可在現有商業品系在不改變其遺傳多樣性下直接針對肌肉抑制素b基因以精準育種選育平台增加高取肉率表現型。The genotype of high fillet yield in Mighty tilapia MT1 strain can be introduced into the commercial tilapia strain with high growth rate or disease-resistance (DR) strain and salinity-tolerance tilapia (ST) strain by cross-breeding to develop new commercial tilapia strains with two or three beneficial phenotypes. The phenotype of high fillet yield can be developed in available commercial strains by targeted mutagenesis of the myostatin b gene and selective breeding platform without interference with the genetic diversity of other genes.
一、壯鯛一號MT1品系公母魚均增加取肉率高達50~60%。
